How much does logo design cost for a tech startup?
It depends on six things, and once you know them you can compare any two offers. Here is what drives the price, what a cheap logo leaves out, and how I set a fixed price before work starts.

What a proper logo includes.
Compare offers on this list, not on the price line. A low price usually means some of these are missing.
- A short talk about your business before any sketch
- 2-3 directions shown in real use
- One refined direction, tested at small sizes
- Horizontal, stacked and symbol lockups
- Colour and type that belong with the mark
- AI, SVG, PDF and PNG files, favicon and avatar
- Full rights, in your name
Six things decide what a logo costs.
Two logos can look similar on a screen and differ ten times in price. These are the reasons, so you can compare offers fairly.
Scope
A logo alone, a logo with the identity around it, or the whole brand with guidelines and templates. This is the biggest driver.
Where it will live
Web and social only, or also print, packaging, signage and an app. Every place needs lockups and files that work there.
Thinking before drawing
A logo that comes from your positioning costs more than one picked from a style, and it lasts longer.
Who draws it
Software, a contest, a junior at an agency or a senior designer. You pay for judgement, not hours.
Revisions and directions
How many directions you see and how many rounds are included. I show 2-3 and include one round with a single service.
Rights and files
Full rights and every master file in your name, or a licence and a PNG. Ask before you pay.
What the money buys.
Three logos and what changed for the company after them.
How a fixed price works.
No hourly estimate, no surprises at the end.
You tell me what you need
Three taps or a 15-minute call.
Proposal in 2-8 hours
Scope, dates and one fixed price, in writing.

Not right? Tell me within 24-48 hours for a full refund.
Same price at the end
Nothing is added unless you ask for more.
Get your scope in three taps.
Answer three questions and I show you which package fits and how many days it takes. If you want the price, I write it in a proposal within 2-8 hours.

Cheap, agency, or a senior designer.
| Generator or contest | Agency | Vizura Studio | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you pay for | Speed | A team and its overhead | One senior designer's judgement |
| Risk | It looks like others | Long, with change requests | Full refund if the first direction misses |
| Files and rights | Often limited | Usually included | Everything, in your name |
| Price | Low | Estimate plus extras | Fixed, in writing |
Not right? Full refund.
You see the strategy and the first design direction before anything else gets built. If it doesn’t feel like your company, tell me within 24-48 hours and you get back everything you paid.
- Full refund if the first direction isn’t right
- Every file and key is yours from day one
- Fixed price, nothing added unless you ask
Written into every proposal.
Straight answers.
Why do you not publish prices?
Because two logos with the same name can be very different jobs. You get one fixed price for your scope in 2-8 hours, which is more useful than a range.
Is a cheap logo ever enough?
For a side project or a test, yes. For a company that will raise money, sell to enterprise or hire a team, the logo is the first proof that you are serious.
What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?
The logo is the mark. The identity is the system around it: colour, type, imagery and rules. More on brand identity.
How long does it take?
7-14 days for a logo and its files, 10-21 days with the full identity.
