Work

GameBoost Energy. A brand website you play, not read.

An interactive 3D website for GameBoost, a Croatian energy drink born in the gaming community. Story mode with XP and a final boss, a 3D armory where every can breaks into a wireframe schematic, and a B2B co-op mode for retail and HoReCa buyers, in one build.

The playable website

Hold to boost and the game starts. Break the can into its ingredients, pick a flavour in the armory, follow the loot truck to your shop and read the lore.

The brief

Energy drink websites all look the same.

GameBoost is a Croatian energy drink born in the gaming community: King of the Game. Category websites are a product shot, a splash and a flavour list. GameBoost needed a website that speaks the language of its audience and still works as a catalogue and a sales tool for retail and HoReCa buyers.

Goal

A site gamers want to finish, and a B2B channel in the same build.

Values

Play, competition, energy, community.

Direction

Experienced, not explained. Game mechanics with a purpose. Serious B2B underneath.

What they really needed

For a brand born in gaming, the website should be played.

02

On mobile

The same game, rebuilt for the thumb, from the first boot screen to the boss fight.

Positioning

The GameBoost website is a game: every level shows a flavour, a feature or a way to buy.

Play

XP, levels and a final boss.

Product

Every can in 3D, down to the ingredients.

B2B

Co-op mode for buyers.

Sound

Designed audio, on by choice.

03

PRESS START launch campaign

A trailer and Level episodes for social, in Croatian, with my voice. Each one unlocks a part of the website and invites people to play it.

Decisions

Five decisions, and what I rejected.

  1. 01
    Story mode with XP

Boot screen, character select, world map and a final boss reward exploration.

    Rejected

    A scrolling product page.

  2. 02
A 3D armory with an exploded can

Visitors rotate every flavour and break it into a wireframe schematic of the ingredients.

    Rejected

    Static packshots.

  3. 03
    B2B as co-op mode

Buyers build a pallet and send an enquiry without leaving the experience.

    Rejected

    A separate wholesale PDF.

  4. 04
The store locator as the loot map

A practical feature turned into part of the game: from Stubičke Toplice to your shelf.

    Rejected

    A plain list of shops.

  5. 05
A launch campaign told like a game launch

PRESS START: a trailer and short Level episodes, each one unlocks one part of the website and invites people to play it.

    Rejected

A plain post saying the new website is live.

Problems solved

What was broken, and what I built to fix it.

The problemWhat I built
Category sites that look identicalA story mode with XP, levels and a boss fight
Packshots that say nothingA 3D armory with exploded wireframe cans
B2B buyers sent to a PDFCo-op mode: build a pallet, send an enquiry
A store list nobody readsA loot map that shows where GameBoost is sold
A new website nobody knows aboutPRESS START launch videos, one level at a time
Outcome

A brand site people play to the end.

GameBoost got an interactive 3D website people want to finish, with a working B2B sales flow for retail and HoReCa buyers in the same build. It shows how interactive 3D can turn a brand site into an experience and a sales channel at once.

Game design

Story mode, XP, levels.

3D product viewer

Armory, exploded can, photo mode.

B2B flow

Pallet builder, enquiry, store map.
