Rule 1
One to two seconds
Long reveals are for film titles. On social, the message comes before the logo.
A logo reveal is a one or two second ending that shows your logo the same way in every video.

A logo reveal is a short moment in a video where your logo appears. For social videos, keep it to one or two seconds. Put it at the end, on a clean background, with enough space around it.
Use the same reveal every time. That is what makes it work. People start to know your videos by the ending. A long, fancy reveal loses viewers before the message lands.
Social is fast. These rules keep the reveal from getting in the way.
Rule 1
Long reveals are for film titles. On social, the message comes before the logo.
Rule 2
Open with the news. End with the name. Not the other way round.
Rule 3
A flat brand colour or a calm photo. Check contrast. See logo on dark and photo backgrounds.
Rule 4
Keep the clear space from your logo rules. See logo usage guidelines.
Rule 5
One motion, one speed, one end frame. Save it as your standard.
Rule 5 is the one teams break. Each person makes their own, and soon there are six endings. A locked design stops that.
Send this to a designer, or use it to pick the setting in a tool.
LOGO REVEAL BRIEF - [Company] Length: [1 to 2 seconds] at the end of every social video Version of the logo: [horizontal / stacked / icon] on [dark / light] Background: [brand colour name + hex] or [calm photo, approved] Motion: [fade in / slide in / draw on], one speed, no bounce End frame: logo centred, [x] times its own height of space around it Sound: none needed (many people watch muted) Sizes: feed, square, story - logo stays inside the safe area Do not: spin, shake, glow, or add effects that are not in the brand rules

You do not need After Effects to end a video the same way every time.
Ask for a motion design that has the logo ending built in. Then each video is a matter of typing the line. The logo, the colours and the end frame come with the design.
In a Brand OS Portal, Motion Posts works like this. You pick a design I made for your brand. You type a line. You choose how the words appear: rise, word by word or typed. You download the video for feed, square or story.
Nobody has to open a video editor. Nobody changes the ending by mistake.
This is the same idea as brand templates for teams, applied to video. Other news formats are in video templates for company news, and still posts can move too: add motion to static posts.
Tick before you save it as your standard.

At the end for most videos. Start with the news, then sign it with the logo.
They are close. A sting is a very short logo clip you add to videos. A reveal can be a little longer. For social, short wins either way.
No. Many people watch muted, so the reveal should work without sound.
Save one setting and lock it. In a Brand OS Portal the design is locked, so just the words change.
