Move 1
The headline
Let it rise, appear word by word, or type out. This gives the biggest change for the least work.
You do not need a film crew. Move the words, keep the layout, and end on your logo.
Free: your brand in 3 real designs, in 48 hours.
To add motion to a static social post, keep the design and move the words. Let each line rise into place, show the words one by one, or type them out. Hold the final frame for a second, with your logo.
Do not animate everything. One move per post is enough. Use the same move across a series, so the posts feel like one family.
Look at your post. Four parts can move. Most posts need just one.
Move 1
Let it rise, appear word by word, or type out. This gives the biggest change for the least work.
Move 2
Fade or slide it in a moment after the headline.
Move 3
A slow zoom or a slide. Keep it small. Big moves look cheap.
Move 4
A calm end frame. See logo reveal for social videos.
If the words are not clear in the still post, motion will not save them. Fix the message with brand voice guidelines, then add motion.
Copy this timing. Change the words.
START WITH: a static post that already works (one idea, big words, brand colours) SECOND 0-2: headline appears ([rise / word by word / typed]) SECOND 2-5: supporting line appears, headline stays SECOND 5-8: photo or shape moves a little (optional) SECOND 8-10: logo end frame, hold for 1 second SIZE: make feed, square and story from the same design SOUND: none needed CAPTION: [One sentence. One question or link.] CHECK: can someone understand it with the sound off and the video paused at second 5?
The same timing works for LinkedIn. See the 10 second announcement and text animation for Reels.
Free tool
Motion makes your brand louder, for better or worse. Answer a few short questions. You get your brand score and the next thing to fix. It is free.
A common worry: the output looks like everyone else's.
Generic comes from no rules. A tool that can do anything will do the average thing. The fix is not more effects. It is fewer choices, set by your brand.
Lock the font, the colours, the logo place and the speed. Let the person choose the words and one of three text styles. The result looks like you, because it can look like nothing else.
That is how Motion Posts works inside a Brand OS Portal. The designs are made for one brand at a time. You can read more on this in why AI startups look the same.
Leave your email. I design them by hand and send them to you within 48 hours. It costs you nothing.

| Way | Good for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Ask a motion designer | A new look, a brand film, a big launch | Waiting time for each post |
| A general video editor | Full control, if you know the tool | Takes time to learn, and the brand can drift |
| A locked brand tool (Motion Posts in a Brand OS Portal) | Weekly posts by a non-designer | Looks the same by design, so the look must be set up front by a designer |
This is my view from branding work, not a test of any named product.
A designer is still right for the look. The portal is for the daily work after. Compare it with brand templates for teams, which covers still posts too.
Tick each line. Your ticks stay on this device.

Try one Brand OS Portal tool
This is a real tool from a real Brand OS Portal, on the MTG brand. Type a line, pick how the words appear, and watch the video play.
Watch
I made short videos of the tools. Hear me explain them, then scroll through every one at work. Real tools, on a real brand.

Keep the design. Animate the headline, then the supporting line, then end on the logo. Export it as a video for the size you need.
About 8 to 12 seconds is enough for one idea.
Moving text. Words that rise, appear one by one, or type out give the biggest change for the least work.
No. A locked brand tool lets a non-designer type a line and download a video. In a Brand OS Portal, that is Motion Posts.
It can catch the eye in a busy feed, but I have no test to quote. Try it on one series and compare your own results.
Lock the font, colours, logo place and speed, and let people change just the words.
