One sentence: who you help and the result. Big, short, on brand colour.

A good founder banner says one thing: who you help and what changes for them. Add your name or company look, keep it calm and leave room for your photo.
The size for a personal profile is 1584 x 396 px. Below are seven ideas, a text template, and how to keep your banner in line with your company brand.
People look at you before they reply, buy or invest.
A buyer gets your message. They open your profile. The banner is the biggest thing they see. A grey or default banner says nothing. A clear one says what you do in two seconds.
This is the founder side of the LinkedIn company page kit. Page and founder should look like one brand. For sizes of every banner see LinkedIn banner size for company and team.

Pick one idea. Do not do all seven in one banner.

Leave your email. I design them by hand and send them to you within 48 hours. It costs you nothing.
I write to you from [email protected]. If you do not see it, check spam.
Promise line: I help [who] [get what] without [the pain they hate]. Belief line: [Common thing in our market] is broken. I am fixing it. Soft invitation: [What I do] for [who]. Say hi - or book 15 minutes. Event line: Come find me at [event], [city], [date]. Rules: - Under 12 words. - No jargon your buyer would not say out loud. - One idea per banner.
The words should match your site and your brand voice.
A founder changes banner often. A launch, a talk, a new offer.
If every change is a request to a designer, you will keep the old banner for a year. Then it is wrong.
With a brand portal you open your banner tool, type, and download. I set this up for each client brand. At Deepsea Networks the CEO writes and designs an on-brand LinkedIn post in about 3 minutes. A designer is still right for a new identity. The portal is for the daily work after it.
