Website pre-launch checklist for B2B tech brands.
Forty checks in six groups. Tick them before you press publish, so launch day is calm.
Before a website launch, check six things: the brand looks right everywhere, the words are clear and true, search and AI can read the site, forms and links work, it is fast on a phone, and you know what to do on day one.
Below is the full checklist you can tick online, a launch day plan and the files people forget most often, like the favicon and the share image.
Group 1: the brand looks right.
Small brand slips make a new site look unfinished.

Group 2: the words are clear and true.

Can AI read your brand before launch?
A new site is the best time to fix how AI sees you. Answer a few questions and see how AI-ready your brand is.
Group 6: launch day and the day after.
Plan the day so nobody fixes things in panic.
| When | What |

| Morning | Publish, then open the live site on a phone and a laptop |
| Morning | Send one test form and check it arrives |
| Midday | Post on LinkedIn, update the company page and email signatures |
| Day 2 | Check Search Console for errors and the sitemap status |
| Week 1 | Read analytics, fix the pages people leave fastest |

What should I check before launching a website?
Brand, words, search and AI, forms, speed, and a plan for launch day. The checklist on this page has 40 checks in six groups.
How do I make sure Google finds my new website?
Do not block it in robots.txt, send a sitemap in Google Search Console and redirect every old URL to its new page.
What size should the share image be?
1200 x 630 pixels works well on most networks. Meta recommends that size for link previews.
What do people forget before a website launch?
The favicon, the share image, redirects from old pages, testing forms and the 404 page.
Should I launch on a Friday?
Better not. Launch early in the week, so you have working days to fix what comes up.
