Reshare the company post
A reshare with no words gets little reach. People can tell it was asked for.
Your team has more reach than your company page. Here is how to help them post, without making it a chore.
Employee advocacy on LinkedIn means your team shares posts about the company and their work from their own profiles. It works when posts are personal, easy to make and look like one brand.
Give people three things: ideas for what to post, a ready on-brand design for the image, and freedom to use their own words. Below are post templates, a weekly rhythm and the rules to keep it on brand.
It is not asking everyone to share the company post. That rarely works.

This
People write about their work, the product and what they learn. The company shows up inside.
And this
Images, banners and signatures match, so every post adds to one brand.
LinkedIn retired its My Company and Employee Advocacy tabs (from November 2024, says LinkedIn Help, checked on 5 November 2026). Page admins can still notify employees about key posts. Start with a clean company page kit.
Give people a menu. A blank page is why most people never post.
| Post type | Example | Who |
|---|---|---|
| Behind the scenes | How we fixed a hard bug this week | Engineers |
| Customer win | What changed for a customer, with their OK | Sales, success |
| Lesson learned | One thing I got wrong and what I do now | Anyone |
| Product update | A new feature and why we built it | Product |
| Event or talk | Three takeaways from a talk | Anyone who went |
| Hiring | Why I like working here, and the open role | Hiring manager |

I write to you from [email protected]. If you do not see it, check spam.
Each one leaves room for the person's own words.
1. BEHIND THE SCENES This week at [Company] we [did what]. The hard part was [problem]. What worked: [what you did]. What I would tell anyone doing the same: [one tip]. 2. CUSTOMER WIN (with their OK) [Customer] came to us with [problem]. [Number] weeks later, [result]. The part I liked most: [small human detail]. 3. LESSON LEARNED I used to think [old belief]. Then [what happened]. Now I [what you do now]. Anyone else seen this?
Small and steady beats a big push once a quarter.
Monday: one short message in Slack or Teams with 3 post ideas for the week.
Any day: people who want to post pick an idea, write it in their words and make the image from the shared design.
Friday: the company page reshares the best team posts, with a line on why.
Once a month: look at what got comments, not just likes, and share that with the team.
Never force it. Ask who wants to join and help them first. A brand channel helps, see brand consistency in remote teams.
Free tool
The easiest piece of advocacy is the email signature. Make a matching one for the whole team. It is free and runs right here.
People will post more when the design part is already done.

Make it easy: give post ideas, templates and a ready design. Ask who wants to join instead of forcing it.
A plain reshare gets little reach. A short post in their own words, with the company inside, works much better.
Shared banners, signatures and one image design, plus a short "say this, not this" list. Let the words stay personal.
