AI logo generators: what they get right and wrong.

AI logo makers are fast and fun for ideas. Here is what they say they do, and where they fall short.

AI logo generators like Looka, Brandmark, Tailor Brands and Canva make many logo options in minutes from your company name and a few choices. They are good for ideas and for a first logo when budget is very tight.

Their limits: logos from shared templates cannot be registered as a trademark in Canva's case, pure AI output may not be protected by copyright, high quality files often cost extra, and many results look alike.

If the logo goes on a product, a website and investor decks, you want it to be yours, to work small, and to come with a system. That is design work by a person.
